Arguably, the Epstein Deception is different because it was aimed specifically at the heart of MAGA. This wasn’t lies about immigrants or gay people or “leftists”. This was a lie intended to validate MAGA’s participation in the grift. Many of MAGA’s top commentators are feeling the weight of the grift…that the rest of us have been feeling for the last ten years.
Hypothesis 1: The Epstein Deception is a deception too far, and it will cause cracks in the MAGA facade, the Orange Don will start hemorrhaging support as the MAGA commentariat turns against him.
Hypothesis 2: The Epstein Deception is just another in a long line of deceptions that MAGA has been socialized to blindly accept. The MAGA commentariat will fall in line as always and sustain support for the Orange Don.
